Safety modelAURA can reason freely, but the host only executes a small allow-list of Android actions. Sending, buying, deleting, installing, calling and similar actions require confirmation.
INSTALLED ENVIRONMENT

Apps AURA can see

Anything Android exposes through the installed app list can be launched. Play Store installs are handled inside the Android environment.

ANDROID RUNTIME

A Google Play-enabled AVD lets you sign in to Play Store and install WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook and other compatible Android apps.

LOCAL AI

Reasoning + vision

Default lightweight pairing: qwen3:4b for planning and qwen2.5vl:3b for visual fallback. Both run through local Ollama.

VOICE ACCESS

Local speech

Speaker matching is only a convenience filter for ignoring obvious background speakers. It is not used as an authentication factor.

PRIVACY

On this computer

Screen captures are processed locally and are not stored by default. AURA only calls the Ollama endpoint on loopback. Remote portal access still requires HTTPS plus your AURA password.
